Which Shark vacuum do I want??

I need a new hoover and want something lightweight. Been to curry’s and love the lift away cordless one for the weight and design but is cordless going to be a bit crap suction wise? The corded ones in store were heavier but looking on line they do corded ones at a similar weight (7kg ish). Would love some opinions.

I have the corded lift away. We love it so much we actually argue about who's going to do the hoovering! And it has headlights. It's called Stanley.

Bump. Watching this with interest as I need a new vacuum, and have been looking at Shark, I currently have a Dyson .

Another vote for the cordless Duoclean Shark. Love it, so easy to have a whizz about with. Definitely get two batteries though so one is always on charge.

@AnarchyKitty we also argue over who gets to vacuum since we bought it!

My shark is not cordless (cordless anything = noooo) but it is lightweight.

The dust container is TINY tho, I have to empty it every other day. Also the dusting brush just won't stay in place but maybe I fit a duff one. Preferred my Dyson :(

We have the corded shark duo clean. I wanted a cordless one but in my post birth haze I didn't select the right one.

When I bought mine you could choose to buy with 1 or 2 batteries. It does add significantly to the cost to buy 2 but I wouldn't be without the second battery. When it goes flat, I can just switch them over and carry straight on with the hoovering. Would be really annoying to have to stop and wait while it recharged.

I bought mine direct from the Shark website in a package with 2 batteries and a duo charging dock. When I bought mine you could choose to pay over 6 months in interest free instalments.
