Dd recently broke her little finger after catching it awkwardly, we took her to hospital where an x-ray took place and they sent us away saying that it was badly bruised, only to call us back 2 days later to say they'd reviewed the x-ray and did find s small fracture. Today she fell down the stairs and hurt her middle finger, and it seems very swollen, she can move it but not much. I'm happy to take her to a&e in the morning but can't tonight as have no transport and home with 5 children. She's only 10 and this is potentially her 4th break, the last being only a couple of weeks ago, should i also ask for a referral just in case there's an underlying issue?
