I have two ongoing chronic illnesses (Psoriatic Arthritis & Fibromyalgia) they’re fairly poorly controlled and I do struggle.
I have my blood tested every 6-8 weeks at my local hospital as I can’t block book at my GP’s.
For about the past 3/4 months I’ve really struggled with my appetite and am not eating much (this is relevant I think) but just put it down to my illnesses/medication/stress etc.
I got a phone call late yesterday from my GP’s surgery making me an appointment for Wednesday to discuss my last blood results, and I’m now terrified that something is seriously wrong with me, I do suffer from some health anxiety due to it taking so long to get diagnosed for my exsisting conditions.
My question is, the bloods I have done are for renal/liver profile, CRP, ESR and a FBC. If there is anything serious showing up then surely they’d get me into the surgery rather than a phone consultation? Please can someone put my mind at rest, before I drive myself up the wall!
Thanks if you got this far!
