Yea or nay? I can't decide whether they're nice or mumsy!

I actually like them. Would look great with skinny jeans.
I'm far from mumsy too.

QuantumWeatherButterfly · 27/10/2018 18:08

I really like them. I don't think they look like mum boots. Or Ecco boots either, for that matter

PurpleDaisies · 27/10/2018 18:10

Really nice.

Oooh I quite like those! I wouldn’t class them as a mum boot.

iwillkeepthishouseclean · 27/10/2018 18:22

I think there mummy's x sorry

Bombardier25966 · 27/10/2018 18:23

There a mum's boot but why does that matter? They're nice boots!

FirstOfHerName · 27/10/2018 22:41

I don't even know how you wear skinnies with ankle boots these days - tucked in or rolled up?

OP posts:
JellieEllie · 28/10/2018 13:52

Rolled up! Never tuck them in !!

museumum · 28/10/2018 13:54

Don’t think they’re a mum boot. Mum boots have a bit of a heel but not enough.

Agustarella · 28/10/2018 13:55

The shape of the toe says mum boots to me. Should be nice quality though.

Racecardriver · 28/10/2018 13:55

These are a bit ott but not mum boots

Fashionista101 · 07/11/2018 11:04

Just discovered this topic so late to the party. Mummsy I'm afraid!

Getonthatbroomandfly · 11/11/2018 23:32

Wtf are mum boots?

Joinourclub · 11/11/2018 23:34

I dint think they are mum boots.

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 11/11/2018 23:43

Mumsy.

It's the soft plastic sole/fake stacked heel that ruins them. Sorry!

ZeroFuchsGiven · 11/11/2018 23:44

How long has this topic been around?

NameChangeToAvoidBeingFound · 11/11/2018 23:45

I like them and I'm single with no children and I would wear them. Just wear what you like. Smile

ferrier · 11/11/2018 23:47

Less mumsy than a lot of stuff that is deemed not to be on MN. But still a little mumsy.

Olderbyaminute · 12/11/2018 00:06

I love them

Drogosnextwife · 12/11/2018 07:28

Please god don't tuck them in! They are a bit mumsy.

FirstOfHerName · 12/11/2018 07:41

Can anyone direct me towards some ankle boots that AREN'T mumsy?? I do have some calf high boots that I still tuck my skinny jeans into - I hope that's ok as I'd look ridiculous if I rolled my jeans up that far!

OP posts:
FirstOfHerName · 12/11/2018 07:43

I do have some high heeled ones but they aren't really practical for all day, everyday wear. Are there any that are comfortable AND look good?

OP posts:
WildCherryBlossom · 12/11/2018 10:15

How about a pair of Doc Marten Chelsea boots?

WildCherryBlossom · 12/11/2018 10:20

Any of these?

That first pair of Docs is nice, thanks WildCherry! Though I am partial to a biker-style boot with buckles, unless that's intrinsically mumsy!
