I wonder why Stephen Yaxley-Lennon changed his name to Tommy Robinson.

He wants to sound more “down with the people”? His name sounds v middle class.

I've wondered that as well. Is it because he perceives the fake name as being 'man of the people.' ?

Not me or my people, though. Bleugh.

Can we just not give him any more publicity? Please?

Tommy Robinson is the name of a Luton football hooligan, part of the MIG (Men In Gear) gang.
Yaxley-Lennon took his name.
Both oxygen thiefs of the highest order.

Ex-MIG, Tommy Robinson (not to be confused with Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, the self-styled leader of the English Defence League, who took Robinson's name), has written two books about his experiences with the firm, Mig Down which charts his 25-years in football violence, and Mig Crew about the firm itself.
