When did you come into your "sexual self"

Not a perv or a troll I promise - and not looking for sexy stories. Regular user but recently name changed for a thread related to work.

All my adult life, I could take or leave sex. Didn't really feel like I got much put of it (not through lack if trying on partners behalf!)

Now I'm almost 30 I've suddenly found myself enjoying sex and actually, shock, wanting it!

Not sure what changed... I did come off hormonal contraception 6 months ago so that might have something to do with it.

I also feel much more confident in the bedroom, and despite being a bit rounder and certainly not as nice looking as at 22... sexier.

Has anyone else found this?

Hmm. Awful feeling I may have missed it altogether

I had a brief period of sexual confidence in my mid twenties but that's long gone.
I can't even imagine wanting to do it nowadays and that's really sad.
I wish I could switch my libido back on somehow.

I think I peaked in my early to mid twenties unfortunately.

Good from the start (mid teens), brilliant twenties, utterly shit now I’ve delivered a huge baby and got the scarring/prolapse/stretched out muscles/nerve damage to show for it. Done a year of intensive physio and it is still numb and disappointing. Bugger.

Aged 40. Discovered i have very specific preferences, when led there by someone much more experienced in that kind of sex. It was a revelation.
