I have just given in. The thermostat read 15 degrees so the heater in the Living room is on. I am already wearing 3 layers :) Is anyone else holding out??

I never switch mine completely off. The thermostat determines when it goes on, not the date

It's 1 degree outside!

I have it on but only because I have a visitor overnight Grin

Mines is set on a timer for an hour in the morning then on from 7-9pm. I might give in and turn it in today but my teenagers spend most of their time in bedrooms so don't seem to notice if it's cold.

I also never switch mine completely off. It has a thermostat and so if it is cold enough it comes on based on that, at the times it is set to.

It was 14 when I got up this morning, I put the heat on right away. Brrrr.

Same.
In a previous house we would heat it for a few hours in the morning and evening
Current house it's one of those where you pick your temperatures and it only comes on if it drops below that.
