...........because her phone's broken. Trouble is, I can't, for the life of me, remember what time. Grin. Shall I assume 8? No idea what her plans are-and she's the sort that can sleep til midday.

8am with a cup of tea sounds reasonable. Then if it's too early, at least she's got a cup of tea to cheer her up.

Presuming she likes tea, of course

BertrandRussell · 27/10/2018 08:04

Oops, it was 9. I handed her a cup of coffee and reminded her that she used to regularly wake me at 5.30 asking "What are we doing today? Can we have French toast and go swimming NOW?"

Ach well, she’s now got an extra free hour. You have given her the gift of time!

Youngest dc (7) is a nightmare to get up in the morning during the week. I'm regularly up and down the stairs about 10 times to hurry him along.
This morning (and most Saturdays) he got his own back and woke me up at 6.

Kids 😴

Tell her clocks go back tonight so she's being gifted an extra hour as compensation Grin

Miscible · 27/10/2018 08:25

Clocks going back gives her an extra hour anyway ...

Juells · 27/10/2018 08:29

You have given her the gift of time!

😂

I told her I had given her the gift of time-she threw a stuffed orang-utan at me.

So now you both have a gift- time and a stuffed orangutan. Win win.
