I was thinking earlier.... I have one.

I’m pretty sure I’ll write a book before I die. On what ....I don’t yet know but I have very little internal doubt....

Yet no one knows.

Yes, I pull my hair out (tritchotillomania) but it isn’t noticeable because I’ve always got my hair tired up or covered outdoors.

No major secrets about myself but I know a few shocking things about other people, mainly gossipy stuff like affairs/drugs/secret prison sentences.

The biggest is that my cousins have an older half sibling that I think only I and their dad know about, and he doesn't know I know either! They will find out when he dies and I will have to pretend I never knew.

Lots! I can reveal here that I almost always buy in cakes for cake sale fundraisers but pass them off as my own. I found an obscure supplier, and then I add some decorations on. People think I am amazing at baking

People would probably be shocked about how many people I slept with before I met my husband. I came out of a really horrendous relationship and slept around a lot to fill some kind of void. I was single for just over a year and bar a few short, non relationships I was on the pull most weekends. Never went more than about 2 weeks without sex of some kind. Few fwb on the go. Not proud of it now but I was incredibly lonely and vulnerable. Feels like it was someone else's life entirely now. I am the shy retiring type. You would never expect it of me. And I'm from a very religious background!

@beanaseireann we are in the same boat... I have at least four half siblings that have no idea that I exist, I Facebook / LinkedIn stalk them and it's probably not the best thing for my mental health to be honest.

Plus a few that do know I exist but for various reasons I'm frozen to the spot about reaching out to them beyond being friends on FB.

I've had this on work ice breakers. The facilitator got pissed off with me when I refused to answer. I did say if I told you it wouldn't be a secret anymore but it has to remain a secret so I'm not telling you.
