So my guilty pleasures are as follows

A discovery of witches
Beautiful creatures
City of bones
True blood
Vampire daires
So not exactly heavy reading as long as there some romance and otherworldly creatures and dramatic twists any recommendations?

The old kingdom series by Garth Nix, it's teenage fiction not too heavy but one is my favourite series of books.

Following with interest. It's a little old now but for a fantasy classic I like the belgariad series by David Eddings.

Robin Hobb - Farseer Chronicles
I’ve been reading them all year and am now on the last book.
I’ll be browsing threads like this soon as I’ll be bereft.

The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. Only 2 in the series at the moment but they are brilliant.
Currently working my way through The Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovitch and thoroughly enjoying them.

Yes to the Belgariad recommended by a PP - one of my favourite series ever but it's classic fantasy not urban as a lot of your list are.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor is amazing.

Not fantasy but fantastic light reading is the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.

MazDazzle · 26/10/2018 22:42

Justin Cronin’s trilogy: ‘The Passage’, ‘The Twelve’ & ‘The City of Mirrors’.

Do it!

Game of Thrones
His Dark Materials trilogy - Phillip Pullman
I also loved the Garth Nix Books

Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series

Diana gabaldon series Outlander, slightly different to your current choices but still a good read
