Where would you go?

Not ridiculous funds but a few grand in savings and about £1500-2000 per month.

I've traveled widely my whole life (30 now) and lived in Aus, so don't want to go back necessarily, plus I spent half a year in SE Asia so not fussed about Thailand or Cambo (Vietnam is the best country in the world so definitely planning to go back.)

So where should I go? It's keeping me going through the absolute horrors of work and an awful breakup right now.

Mexico. Not the touristy bits though! I travelled through the western part of S America, which was also fab, but Mexico was my highlight. So colourful and alive, though speaking more Spanish by then probably helped!
