Can I freeze this risotto?

I made loads of chicken risotto with yesterday’s left over cooked chicken. The kids hated it and I’ve got loads left over. Can I freeze it? The chicken was cooked yesterday, was in the fridge until I cooked it and then was heated right through.

I freeze risotto when there's leftovers. The texture's not quite the same but I quite happily eat it!

I have successfully frozen risotto made with leftover chicken. The issue isn't the chicken, it is making sure you cool the rice quickly enough to reduce the risk of food poisoning from rice that stayed warm too long. I divide into small amounts in sealed containers and stick in the fridge while still hot (I only do this with rice and keep it well away from other food), then get into the freezer as quickly as possible.
