Friheten sofa bed anyone

Sorry boring thread. We have recently purchased one and just put it together. I bought a topper and waterproof fitted sheets to protect it. I can't see how sheets can tuck in at all? Its so tight to the edge and there is only an inch or so in height you can just get your fingers down.
Is this normal? I am not sure if we have made it wrong!

Is this the ikea one? If it is the same as the one we bought, we found it completely impossible to tuck sheets in.

I have one, it's a nightmare with sheets. I have to use a flat sheet rather than fitted and even then it will probably come out in the course of the night because there's no mattress to tuck it under

Oh no how irritating. We just got rid of a lycksele as it wasn’t great as a sofa but as a bed Witt a topper I liked it. This is better as a sofa but clearly not as a bed. It’s far too hard without a topper. Just my luck.

I assumed it would be like a proper mattress that you could tuck under.
