Anyone else watching the gymnastics world championships?

USA gymnastics channel on YouTube put videos up of the women doing podium training, but I don't know when the competition is starting for them. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to watching the world championships. I love Simone biles new floor routine.

Yes, I can't wait. I've watched some of the podium training too. I can't see anyone beating Bibles, but I don't like her style of gymnastics much. I think my favourite gymnast at the moment is Morgan Hurd. Did you see the Belgian girl on the bars, Nina someone? Amazing. Not sure how the British girls will do.

Morgan was great last year! I hope she makes it to the all around and gets a medal!

Me too. But can you see any serious challenges to Simone Biles? Hopefully there will be a decent amount of coverage under the red button.

Book, are you watching the all around it? My fingers are seriously crossed right now. I really really really hope for something. I’m sure if you are watching it you understand what I mean. I won’t give it away if you haven’t watched it yet.

I really don’t think you should be able to fall and win the competition which I think is what’s going to happen. I really really feel for Nina. Those what a great job she did today. Even if she doesn’t get a medal. She should have done.

I am currently working in Doha and have the US, Australian, Spanish, Brazilian, Canadian and Slovakian (plus many more) teams staying in my hotel. Totally unexpected

one of my favorite gymnast is the very very small one from Brazil, her name is Flavia. I think even know she is only 141 cm. She used to be 131. Very very small but dynamic gymnastics and I love her personality.

The thing is... it's wasted on me, I could have free tickets from work but I can't use them as I'm on site for the next five days. My children and my brothers tribe are all gymnastics mad too... need to see if I can collar someone famous for a "good luck and keep at it" video message... I wouldn't know where to start!

Her somebody watching the competition, what are they giving to the 6/5 and fourth place runners up? They are giving them something but I can’t quite see what.

I haven't managed to see the all around, but I know the result. It wasn't going to be otherwise was it? She just didn't have the style of Mustafina on bars. Will see it all on catch up in a couple of days.

Do you all think it will be a clean sweep for Biles in the individual apparatus?

Tiles fell off the beam today but still one. I really really hope that the other gymnasts will get there a chance in the finals. Nina performed so well today and the results were so close. I'm glad she got fourth. I think Nina got higher than files in qualification didn't she? Plus, biles only had a 13.2 on beam today because she fell and made some other smaller mistakes. But even Morgan her to put her hand down on the beam today.

What an amazing day of finals! Philippines, Mexico? Great job to these gymnasts. And finally, Nina won her gold-medal.
