Desperately trying to track down an old school, a4 sized thick yellow pages. Does anyone have one floating around they'd be prepared to part with? Happy to pay postage!

My parents may do- does region matter?

shakeyourcaboose · 25/10/2018 20:47

They are not that thick any more! I used to work there, back in the A4 days Wink

flatpack1 · 25/10/2018 21:05

They're lightweight now and I just bin them. The thick ones were essential for squishing creepy crawlies

Justonedayatatime11 · 25/10/2018 21:18

shakeyour no, region doesn't matter at all! It's a slightly daft prop for our wedding and needs to be the old style thick book, not the new small one!

I've got two on top of my wardrobe (don't ask lol). They are very out of date but happy to send them if it helps Smile

TeddyIsaHe · 25/10/2018 21:29

Yes! I have four at the back of my pantry because I’m too lazy to sort my house out. Laziness does pay off apparently Grin

Justonedayatatime11 · 25/10/2018 21:31

Yay!! Please pm me and I'll sort out postage costs. Thank you so much!

Terf2Terf · 11/11/2018 10:10

I haven't got one to help you with but am reminiscing about the ads and wondering if your wedding will involve either

  1. One of you is much shorter than the other so you're going to stand on the yellow pages for a kiss
  1. One of you has written a book that is out of print
  1. One of you is called J R Hartley?
Justonedayatatime11 · 11/11/2018 12:27

Ha Terf you are correct!

OP posts:
Bluesheep8 · 11/11/2018 14:22

SavoyCabbage · 11/11/2018 14:28

I have one here!! It's a Northern Ireland 2004 one - it has seen better days and the cover has some writing on it and a chunk ripped off but you are more than welcome to it
