Where do I find really good thin ginger biscuits

About 5 years ago I bought a tin of ginger biscuits from the local greengrocer who used to sell stolen seconds/excess stock. I wanted the tin but fell in love with the biscuits. They were German or scandinavian (can't remember) and they were so so good - thin, light, buttery, crispy and really gingery with a hint of spice. Proper grown up biscuits. Sold for a pittance as they were 'forrin' I went back for more the following week but they were gone. I craved them when I was pregnant but could only find inch thick solid gingernuts which were Not Right when I wanted something to nibble to fend off the nausea.

Anyone know where I can find such biscuit nirvana? I think IKEA sell similar style biscuits but not sure they do ginger ones (just spice ones which are lovely but I want ginger!) Plus we live nowhere near IKEA and I don't want to go just for biscuits.

Ringtons do some gorgeous ginger biscuits - do you have a Ringtons man?
