Quick question - is half term this week or next?

Sorry for the daft question!

I assumed half term was this week but some schools round here still seem to be in. I'm planning a trip to Ikea Wembley and wanted to avoid the masses

Next week for us (Yorkshire) but my friend who is a teacher is on HT this week (Bolton). Another friend near Manchester has HT next week.

That IKEA is my local one and we have half term next week.

And will be going there too......

Depends on the county. Seems 50:50 split unusually this year.

Depends - we’re visiting family in North Yorkshire who are still at school. Visitors are us (Cornwall half term now) and Surrey (half term now) but absent siblings are Harpenden (next week) and Cambridge (this week).

I certainly hope it's this week, otherwise my classes have gone untaught whilst I sit on my fat arse

I’m gateshead and we’re on half term this week. DH teaches in Newcastle and he’s on half term next week...!

Bristol here - our school breaks up on Friday. Visiting family in Kent at the weekend who will be finishing their half term as we begin ours.

Depends on your area. DS's school just finished today (inset day tomorrow) and are off until the 5th. Some schools are off this week and some others are off for 2 weeks.

This week for us, next week for my nephews (another London borough!)

Mine was last week as were all the schools in my village. Seems like all the other schools in Leicestershire is this week. Nottingham is next week!
