Silly question to help me use my new tablet (ancient technophobe) please

I have a new tablet (Linx) to replace my old laptop and am really happy with except one thing. When I'm on a website with drop down menu as soon as I move off the heading to something further down the list I lose it. I've tried all sorts of things but am totally stumped. Please can someone explain to me how to do it so, for example, when I click on womens wear heading I can actually move down to open knitewear. Many thanks

I had this and it helped to slow down. That is, wait a second till I moved on.
Couldn't find out why and it may not be the reason at all, but it worked.

are you keeping your finger on the tablet while you navigate down the list? If not try it, and if you are try lifting your finger off.

Many thanks, I've just tried these suggestions and no luck. If I take finger off drop down it disappears, if I keep it on and slide it either moves the main page around or the drop down disappears. Slowing down isn't helping either.
It's saving me money thought!

Which browser are you using? Some websites only really work fully if you use Chrome. You can download Chrome from the play store/app store for free x
