What is the difference between #gift and #ad please.

I regularly see them being used and am still not sure what the difference is. Does anyone have the ASA flowchart thingy that they could share.

An Ad is something they were paid to promote, a gift is a freebie they were given in the hope they'd like it and choose to promote.

At least that's my understanding I'm not on insta
