Selling on Gumtree

Do you sell to the first person who gets in touch and makes an arrangement to come and view, or do you sell to the person who can physically get to you first?

Depends on the item. If it's in my way then the first to collect can have it. However if it's not in the way, and providing the person is polite, I would hold it for a day or so to allow them to come. Sometimes work gets in the way and there may be other reasons they can't collect right away.
