I need knitting help please

My cat has nibbled a hole through my scarf! Is there a way I can fix the damage? I’m new to knitting so nothing too complex please.

Is the yarn actually broken? I can’t see from the picture. If the yarn is intact, you could try carefully dropping the affected stitches , then picking them up again.

If the yarn is split, you might have to pull a few rows of your knitting out...

You can put in a 'lifeline' just below the nibbled bit to make sure you don't lose more than you want to when you pull it out.
