Wrist issue. Worth seeing a GP?

For a few weeks my left wrist has been hurting me. It's not all the time but is getting more frequent. It doesn't hurt when I touch the wrist. It especially hurts when moving my hand or holding/carrying things. It's getting difficult to hold and lift heavy things with my left hand. Today I'm struggling to hold up my 1 litre water bottle. Last week I noticed my little finger was becoming numb. It was just the tip but today it's almost the whole finger.

Googling points to a trapped nerve. I should make an appointment with a doctor, right? Or not?

I do struggle with feeling like I don't deserve to take care of my health and I worry about wasting the doctor's time if it turns out to be nothing at all.

Sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome, I had the same symptoms. Had operations on both over 10 years ago with no further recurrence

I have this with my right hand, using a mouse with a computer I suspect.

Yes go to the GP, If it's trapped nerve or tendinitis the sooner you start getting treatment, the quicker it can be sorted.
