I wish my hair could last longer between washes but It get's noticably greasy within a day, I struggle to go every other day

Every single day.
No choice in this, it gets very greasy.

KnightError · 24/10/2018 22:59

Every other day. It doesn't look greasy as such, but just looks limp and sad and uncared for if I don't. I used to wash it once a week when I was a student, and it always looked think and luscious and generally very good. I blame pregnancy and perimenopause for everything that's wrong with my hair. Sad

Twice a week.

DonDrapersOldFashioned · 25/10/2018 10:39

Daily, sometimes twice a day if I’m at the gym and can’t time the first wash to coincide.

ZigZagZebras · 25/10/2018 10:42

2-3 times a week. Used to every day but it made it dryer and frizzier.

Parker231 · 25/10/2018 10:42

Twice a week - once if I can get away with it. It’s thick and very curly so messy bun covers problem hair days!

JollyAndBright · 25/10/2018 11:04

Twice a week.

Going chemical/silicone/sulfate free will change your life (it terms of hair washing)
I use a natural soap shampoo, no conditioner and oil my hair, it’s very long and in beautiful condition.

AwfulSomething · 25/10/2018 11:08

Daily, I exercise daily and it gets sweaty!

SushiMonster · 25/10/2018 11:14

Try for every 3 days but if I’ve been spinning I have to do it post spin

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 25/10/2018 12:36

I wash my hair every day - it is very fine and gets greasy and flat if I don't.

haverhill · 25/10/2018 12:43

Definitely try silicone- free products, your hair might feel a bit weird at first but will quickly adjust. Also you could try reverse washing ( condition first then shampoo) which is helpful for greasier hair types.
