It’s my cousins daughters 21st in a couple of months and I am stumped about what to buy. She’s a student with limited funds, not a party animal, quite well travelled, likes to cook. Any suggestions for a budget of £50?

Agree with PP. The money is your best bet.

Agree on cash.

Yup, the cash would be much appreciated.

Cash. You can buy small tins of chocolate in M&S for a couple of pounds. I always pop the cash in 1 of those.

A really great chef's knife, like a wusthoff or something?

I never even considered that as I would have assumed it might seem thoughtless...but I think you are all right actually! Perhaps with a bottle of something bubbly for good measure!

One of those lovely maps in a tube roll where you can scratch off the countries you have visited. A bottle of Prosecco and twenty one pound coins in a gift tin wrapped in a ribbon. Make it up with a bunch of flowers.
