Bloody tumble drier

Has stoped working. Lights come on when you turn it on but nothing happens when you press the start button. I’m sure our mechanical goods (cars/fridge/washing machine etc) conspire to take a chunk out of the Christmas budget every bloody year!

Have you checked all filters? Escape exit for socks?

Filters first and then the belt.

Tumble driers dont have that many needs.

If it's the external venting type, take the tube off the back and stick the hoover in the hole for a minute.

Thanks will try all these tomorrow. Annoyingly I think it’s only just put pf it’s 2 year warrenty period!!

Have you accidentally activated the child lock? I have often done that. All the lights come on but dryer won't work.
