He weighs 38Ib and is average height, he would certainly fit in a Maclaren XLR but cheap it isn’t so does anyone know of a cheaper one!?

TIA

Unfortunately not. I have a very tall 3yo and was faced with a similar problem. I kept an eye out on eBay and Gumtree for a secondhand Maclaren and got it that way at a reasonable price. Luckily we live near a couple of very big cities and could travel.

Phil and teds sport has a really tall, roomy seat. About £400 new but always on FB market place second hand for less than £100

Thank you! Just found a Phil and teds for £110 on local FB, which looks like it will do the trick nicely!

Was just going to say a jogging buggy. I had a mothercare one that I used for DD at that age.

ftfoawygtfosm I’m worried a jogging buggy might make people think I jog and invite me out for a run! Wink

I got a maclaran off ebay. Its fairly tall, but not giant.

I remember once balancing 3 kids on it walking up to the car from the beach. It was great!

ftfoawygtfosm I love a buggy that doubles as a packhorse Grin

Phil and teds is perfect! It feels sturdy enough that it won’t collapse and is much easier to push then I thought, thank you for the suggestion!

Glad it's a success!

Yay! Jogging buggies are heavy to lift, eg in and out of the boot, but surprisingly easy to push.
