The men in the submarine and guy hanging from the helicopter, who get eaten by the giant shark thing....
They wouldn't die right away, would they? They didn't get properly chomped. So, would they just be in the stomach until they died of hunger? Especially the guys in the sub, it's not like they'd drown in the stomach acid?
Sorry, it's really playing on my mind!

I guess the guy from the helicopter would suffocate first? I don’t think there’s air in a stomach is there? I guess the same may have happened to the sub guys, I can’t remember how squished the sub got. I’m going to guess that got squished too and all the water cans in and they drowned or it broke the air supply and they suffocated.

I haven't seen it, but if the sub is of quite rigid construction they might be safe for a while. The stomach acid might eat through the material eventually. The sub would be unlikely to get able to pass through the sphinctre into the rest of the digestive tract. A surgical rescue mission could be possible.

Yeah I reckon helicopter guy would die of suffocation within minutes, several unpleasant minutes but still better than the stomach acid thing. As for the sub, I too doubt it would be small enough to be swallowed so they would either be spat out and die of lack of oxygen or spat out and crushed or big ass swimming dino chokes and they die of lack of oxygen or (v v small chance) spat out and rescued!

All makes sense. I kept imagining them wandering around, going 'shit, now what?!'

That might have happened though. I don’t know too much about the digestive system of prehistoric sharks so my theory isn’t based on much!

Its a far more satisfying image though, them sitting on top of the sub, trying to light a fire and survive in a dino's belly a la Pinocchio!

PyongyangKipperbang that's why it kept playing on my mind, it would be my worst nightmare!
