Walking directions app?

Does anyone know of one that will give simple ‘ turn right’, ‘ turn left ‘ instructions. I have no sense of direction, can’t make sense of maps, am hopeless with ‘in 250
Metres ‘ or ‘heading west, east’ type of things. I have to find somewhere new in London tomorrow and though I’ve worked out which tubes I need, it’s the walking once I get our the stations I’m dreading. Thanks. I have an iPhone soneed ios

You can set google maps to give walking directions. You can choose to follow a map, or a list of written instructions.

I use the map, but it still says 'turn left' etc across the top and audibly if needed

Citymapper. It gives you directions a-b and includes walking instructions.

Brilliant. Thank you. I will take a look at both and see which seems easiest .

just use google maps on your phone with your headphones in. I do that if I have to go to London for work and need to walk somewhere.

Great. I’ve downloaded google map and Citymapper apps to be double sure 👍🏻

Follow the route from the tube station to your destination on streetview to give you an idea of landmarks to look for when following the directions.

sitranced that’s a really good idea. I generally navigate by landmarks if possible. Thanks.
