Very much depends on the age. What age is yours?

LardLizard · 23/10/2018 17:53

What's happened with the friend op.
Is this your child's choice or is it something you want to happen?

Eldest dd started secondary with a group of girls who...very quickly stopped thriving for a number of reasons.
Thankfully dd extracted herself willingly and stayed on good terms with her closest friend, while making other friends. Gave me a few gray hairs though

Stop socialising outside school, spend more time talking to other friends. If possible let it naturally end.

Don’t do what my DDs friends is doing, bullying her because her mum said she doesn’t want our DDs to be friends anymore Hmm
