Right now, God only knows. We signed our sale contract two weeks ago, and our purchase contract this weekend. Might be moved in a week, or possibly a month. Our solicitor still hasn't had all her queries answered on the one we're buying, and our buyers are being arsey over the format of our boiler inspection report. Grr.

@Disgrace have you moved yet? I still haven’t heard from my solicitor! I’m fed up of friends asking when I’m moving. Maybe in the new year! There’s only 3 of us in the chain, mines a cash buyer and my seller is going into old people’s complex! How the heck is it taking so long.

Ring the solicitors and agents and chase them..every day if you have to..it does get them moving, even if it’s only to get rid of you. I’m selling and buying too and the lack of communication annoys me. I do contact them on a regular basis to get feedback and some I can understand any delays.
