What toilet roll do you like?

Boring question but the last couple of toilet roll brands we have had keep disintergrating, currently using cushelle quilted and even that just seems to stick! Not really a question you ask in real life!

Another vote for Nicky here. I find that it’s not as powdery as some of the more expensive brands so I don’t have to dust my bathroom as often!

star8 · 22/10/2018 22:16

asda shades. better than alot of expensive anf came up top in one of those loo role blind use tests

NannyR · 22/10/2018 22:17

I use the aldi value double length rolls, I can't see the point in spending lots of money on something that gets covered in poo and flushed away. It does the job and its cheap.

We just use supermarket regular own brand, usually Morrison's or Asda. Perfectly fine. The cushelle one or whatever it's called was too thick and never dissolved or flushed properly.

OneMoreForExtra · 22/10/2018 22:18

Who Gives A Crap paper!

I order online, big box arrives every few months, all rolls individually pretty wrapped, paper recycled/sustainable, half their profit goes to charity AND the invoice is in rhyme. What's not to like!

fifipop185 · 22/10/2018 22:18

@TokyoSushi I do!! I love the coconut one from Aldi

ProfessionallyUnoffended · 22/10/2018 22:32

Lidl own brand, it's the best we've come across

TokyoSushi · 22/10/2018 22:34

Hurrah @fifipop185 you must be the other person!!

Meet0nTheIedge · 22/10/2018 22:35

Sainsburys recycled. We've never used the quilted ones and never will, heard too many horror stories about them blocking the pipes.

fuckitbuckit · 22/10/2018 22:40

The coconut ones. Only ever seen them in Aldi and Tesco. They smell amazing, are really soft and thick. Would never ever use another kind.

DropItLikeASquat · 22/10/2018 22:42

Tesco or Morrisons value! I don’t like it but it’s the cheapest for a house with 8 kids that seem to eat the toilet roll

WhatFreshHellisCis · 22/10/2018 22:42

Asda shades. Bum wipe heaven.

LaLaLamp · 22/10/2018 22:43

I love the coconut one too, Tesco as no Aldi near to me.

DaisyDreaming · 23/10/2018 02:41

We changed to cuchelle quilted after someone else in our house complained about it disintergrating and now I’m complaining that I go for a wee and get covered in bits of loo roll, not nice! I blew my nose on some and it left bits of loo roll on my nose even!

Waitrose cashmere. It's soft and it lasts longer than most.

Broken11Girl · 23/10/2018 02:53

Andrex. None of that scented lotioned crap here. So much softer on the ass than the value stuff, and you actually use less bc it's better so hardly costs more anyway.

CwtchesAreTheBest · 23/10/2018 07:36

Another convert to Nicky here!!!! We buy it from homebargains.

Lekky12 · 23/10/2018 07:44

Aldi Tiger mega pack every time! The bathroom. Maybe overrun with loo roll for a week or 2 but it's def the best around (cue music from karate kid)

SushiMonster · 23/10/2018 07:45

Asda quilts, really good!

CircleofWillis · 23/10/2018 08:04

Andrex with none of those quilts or lotions etc. It doesn’t produce fluff which my foof deeply appreciates (I’m prone to thrush).

dancinfeet · 23/10/2018 13:29

Nicky from Home Bargains or Regina from Wilkos. Both reasonably cheap but don't scrimp on quality

dementedpixie · 23/10/2018 13:35

Asda quilted or that new Andrex supreme quilts

dementedpixie · 23/10/2018 13:36

Nicky is ok but I don't think you get as many sheets
