Gifts for 13 year old girls?

DS13 has been invited to two birthday parties next week, both for girls in his year. He is useless and has no idea what to get them! What are girls this age into? Budget around £15.

Thanks.

Restaurant or cinema vouchers always go down well with my teenage nieces. Nandos or Starbucks are their preferred places to be seen atm.

Jewellery, make-up, bag

Portable phone charger! You can get nice girly ones.

Yeah vouchers are a good idea - amazon, starbucks, itunes. Things like makeup and jewellery depend on the girl - mine doesn't like anything like that.

Although to be honest since about year 6 I've always given DD money to put in cards - unless they are close friends and she knows exactly what they will like.

Lush Bath bombs was one of my DD favourites at 13 as well as scented candles

We usually do vouchers for all the boys, but somehow it feels 'wrong' to give vouchers to girls. I am confused and irritated by my own feelings here! ConfusedBlush

He hasn't been asked to a girl's party in years, so this has thrown me slightly, because it feels like it is moving onto the 'next stage' IYSWIM.

Boots/Superdrug/Lush voucher? Again, Nando's or Amazon, Primark, H&M? I wasn't into makeup/jewellery when I was 13 but would have loved a Boots voucher for nice shampoo, perfume or body spray type stuff!

BikeRunSki · 22/10/2018 22:29

I got my friends daughter a couple of Lush bath bombs and a box of milk tray earlier this year, on MN advice.

Or if you live near an Intu centre eg Trafford Centre or somewhere like Bluewater, Bullring or even your local town shopping mall may do Centre vouchers which you can spend in pretty much any shop so could go towards something more substantial from Jack Willis, Superdry, JD, River Island and so on

Buttercupsandaisies · 22/10/2018 22:33

DD is 13-

Defo Starbucks or nandos, cinema. Mines no longer interested in lush but make up is popular

madeyemoodysmum · 22/10/2018 22:38

Costa Starbucks
H&M
New look
Superdrug would go a storm with my dd.
