Ovulated but no period after the pill

Hi all,
I was hoping someone may have been in this situation too...
I stopped taking cilest and had my bleed the end of August. Haven’t used any contraception since. Since then I have all sorts of symptoms from sore boobs and fatigue to vomiting and cramps. I took an ovulation test and ovulated 3/10. Got a positive on 7/10, followed by 2 negatives, another positive 10/10 and all negatives since. Had cramping and AF symptoms alongside awful uncomfortable bloating and nausea for the last week but no period. I don’t really understand how I could have ovulated but not come on. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I’ve had blood tests but everything came back fine, starting to worry there’s something wrong.

What were the "positive" and "negative"? Pregnancy tests?

That aside - I have a book by Robert Winston in which he says that ovulation tests only pick up the hormone sent to the ovary that tells it to ovulate. It doesn't mean it actually does so. The metaphor he uses is that the phone might be ringing (the hormonal message) but it might not get answered for a number of reasons.

Thanks for the reply. I got my positive and negative results on Freedom HPTs. I'm just getting really down and fed up with it all, and wish I knew what was going on. I just want to know if I'm going to get my period so I can start tracking or if I'm even ovulating to be able to try. I feel so useless!
