Scabies or allergic reaction?

Last Tuesday I had this red pimply rash on hands and palms and now have spreaded up my arms. Some on my feet and a small patch on the groin. It's not itchy at all and no rash between the finger webs. Could it still be scabies? No one in the family have the rash.

Before the rash stared I touched white spirit for a prolonged period doing art work. Could it be contact allergic reaction? Does it spread to other areas that were not in direct contact with the white spirit?

I've been to a pharmacy on Friday and she said it's allergic reaction but since it's spreading slowly I'm seeing if anyone knows?

Is scabies always itchy?

Scabies it very itchy. And contagious I think. I also think it would be all over by now so probably not that.

It has now stopped spreading.

Been to the doctor this morning and he didn't think it's scabies.

He doesn't know what it is and said maybe an allergic reaction.

Sounds very much like the white spirit exposure has caused a breakout of contact dermatitis. Keep it clean, moisturise with a very gentle emollient and try not to scratch! I suffer with discoid eczema which has very similar symptoms to those you describe and I find that a dose of paracetamol helps when the itching becomes truly unbearable and I actually want to rip off my own skin
