What is Hastings like for bringing kids up?

Any Hastings parents on here?

I am getting to know Hastings and considering a move but I don't know anyone with kids here and I wonder about where families live.. Also I know all seaside towns have a seedier side.... So wondering how safe it is for growing teenagers etc

I find it depressing

I looked into moving there, but it did seem to me to have an issue with schools. My kids at primary so schools big issue for us.
