What questions will they ask me at job interview?

I'm going for my first job interview for 20yrs! It's a little receptionist/admin job. Once I've got over my nerves I'm sure I could do it standing on my head. What sort of questions do you think they'll ask me? I have the skills they're asking for in spades.

Congratulations on the interview!

They will probably ask questions about customer service, confidentiality, multi tasking, dealing with difficult situations, so:

Provide an example of when you went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service

A man calls in to the surgery and says that he believes his wife attended a medical appointment and wants to collect her test results. What would you do?

It’s a busy Monday morning, the telephone is ringing, patients at the desk and the post needs opening. There is one other person is the office. How would you prioritise your tasks?

A woman comes into the surgery and demands to see a GP, she doesn’t have an appointment and gets aggressive when you explain that you have no availability. She says she’s run out of her meds and is tearful. How would you manage the situation to a satisfactory conclusion?

Stuff like tell us about a time when you’ve given good customer service/overcome a barrier.

Why do you want the job/why do you think you’d be good for the job?

Good luck.

They tend to want examples of stuff that you have done to back up your skillset as Egyptian said.

They might ask 'What are you doing at the moment?'.

'What's your proudest achievement?' seems to be a popular one.
