I need prank present suggestions...

So, DH and I currently have something of a rivalry with BIL and his gf. At Christmas/birthday we send each other prank presents/cards and obviously they get a bit more daft each time. It’s DH’s birthday and from BIL we received... a life-sized cardboard cutout of him in his work uniform (he’s got quite a cool job).

I feel we need to up the ante, but I don’t really have any ideas! We don’t live anywhere near each other so can’t pull off anything too practical.

Help me, devious women of Mumsnet!

Glitter bomb through the post?
Sign them up for random course like mushroom foraging?
Sponsor a spider at London zoo in their name?

A huge, tall box. With slots and lots of wrapping paper inside.

And a cd or a photo at the very bottom. Or something even smaller :)

Your gift giving sounds awesome!

My best friend and I have the same 3 bottles of wine which we pass back and forwards for birthdays and christmas (in the same gift bags). We always write hugely extravagant labels about treating the other one to something very special, and it's a bottle of Blue Nun and piat' d'or.
And then we piss ourselves laughing at what pretentious snobs we are.
We've been doing this for about 10 years now, and neither of us is bored yet!

Oh my god you can get custom bed sheets made! We could get him a duvet cover with the picture of my husband in his Mr Motivator outfit on his stag weekend. That’ll put him and and gf in the mood Halloween Grin

One of those little 3D models of yourself? (Asda do this I think?)
I really like the bedding idea though!

Do you have any embarrassing photos of them? Print out and send through the post like a post card so everyone in the delivery chain can see it.

Order a tesco delivery of things they don't use eg dog food if they don't have a dog and have it delivered in the latest spot, I think it's 10-11pm.

You can get lots of personalised things from pens to sweets.

Buy loads of balloons, put a bit of glitter or flour i each and then blow up.
Put them in a huge box and post them to them, very light so won't cost much but for added effect you could make it signed for. You could also use helium but you'd need to check legality of that - but basically they will open a box and the best way to get rid of them is to pop them, that's when they find the glitter.

I am going to twin my DS' toilet with one in Lesotho, you get a certificate and everything.
