Periods making me dizzy and nauseated ...

Not the period troll. Name changed recently but long time poster.

I have had period problems since they started 15 years ago so this isn’t unusual but this month is particularly awful ... woke up this morning flooding at 6am, very dizzy and sick feeling , nightmares , sweating . I’ve since taken tranexamic acid, full dose cocodamol and still feeling absolutely awful - haven’t eaten much or drunk much and can’t get out of bed really . Managed to shower and change pyjamas but exhausted again ...

Heavy periods are normal for me , I usually get through 8 pads a day for 9-10 days or so , usually end up vomiting for the first two or three nights too.

I’ve had dozens of scans , and have a disgnosis of PCOS with suspected endometriosis as well as chronic pain and associated nerve changes.

I’ve tried mirena , mini pill , combined pill , induced menopause for 3 months , Vit B6, and northisterone for 6 months (absolutely hell and since got an apology from NHS who said it was wrongly prescribed to me).

Have had dozens of admissions to hospital before ... trying to avoid that this time . I don’t fancy a run to out of hours the way I’m feeling either ... I don’t think you can get anti sickness over the counter can you ? I’m sipping plain water just now and will try toast in a few hours . Sick of this bloody game every month .
