Favourite dinner/meal

What's your favourite food/meal for dinner?

Med-rare steak, homemade oven chips with the skin left on, salad and a dirty blue cheese sauce.

We do this every couple of weeks and I honestly start thinking about it on a Monday if it’s the plan for the fri/sat.

Toad in the Hole - we do it weekly now.

My DH's favourite is veggie chilli with wraps, Doritos and dips/avocado - my favourite is cheesy pasta with loads of veg (mushrooms, peas, spinach, leeks, etc), sometimes with a bit of pan fried salmon 😍

Roast dinners, hands down.

For me, either a buffet style tea or bobotie with rice, cinnamon butternut and green beans.

Roast gammon cooked in cider and black treacle with home made roasties or chips

Risotto. Yum. But also love steak and chips, roast dinners, thai food, I love food so much!

Macaroni cheese with the cheesiest possible sauce with crispy bacon on top

You can’t beat a really nice steak but roast chicken comes a close second closely followed by a fab toad in the hole - see attached.

Tuna pasta and garlic bread,beef dinner with loads of Yorkshires,oven cooked jacket potatoes with loads butter salt and cheese

Spaghetti Bolognese or lasagna
Sweet and sour king prawn

Medium steak and chips
Some one else's Roast Dinner( hate mine for some reason)
Carbonara.(DD does one with gammon, cream, white wine & Peas)

Chilli chips and cheese with salad

Beef dinner

Lasagne

Lamb roast dinner, drowning in gravy.

Curry. Any curry will do

Steak in peppercorn & cream sauce, chunky chips, peas

Profiteroles with hot chocolate sauce

Medium rare steak with bearnsaie sauce and chips.

DH's veggie curry, not sure how he does it but it's so much better than mine!
Bacon, tomato and chilli tagliatelle. So simple but so good.

Mmmm this makes me hungry hahaha all this food. I love a good roast dinner. But then I do love a homemade lasagna garlic bread and homemade chips 😋 I may have to try making the toad in the hole 🤤

Fish (cod, haddock, salmon) with sauce (cheese, parsley, hollandaise etc) with mashed potato and green veg. Or cheesy potato pie.

Desert Eton mess, raspberry pavlova, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate mouse with raspberries.

Smoky bbq pulled pork, coleslaw, paprika sweet potato fries, green salad with ranch dressing.
