So my bosses 14 year old daughter is babysitting my son on a few weeks for a couple of hours. (I suspect her mum may stay with her but is not far away either). It is a god send, the first night out we will have had in over 4 years that has not been a military operation getting DS to our parents houses (2 hours away and 4 hours away)! But what is the going rate for teenage babysitters? I just told my boss I would obviously give her daughter some money! X

£5 per hr is what our 16 yr old has been paid since she started babysitting last year.

Agree - about £5 per hour.

We pay ten euro an hour but I'd say £5 and then add a fiver to total price. It's better to be generous as you will be glad of the night out.

London up to £8 per hour if sittee is likely to be asleep.

Up to £10 per hour if at large and sitter is playing with them, taking them to park etc.

Lowest amount (to meet minimum wage for u18s) is £4.20 (I think that's the right current figure)

I have teens and they'd love £5 per hour.

Our teen babysitters are anything from £5 to £6 an hour.
