What do DD, DS and so on mean (newby here)

Hello all I'm getting confused to what all the initials of words mean, I'm not down with all the slang words. I do know things like lol, lmao brb but What do DD DS DF and so on mean ? Help please

The first D is “ Dear” so it’s DD ( dear daughter), DS ( dear son) & so on 🙂

You have to read the context too though, DS is usually Dear Son but it can also be Dear Sis (also sometimes DSis).

DF is generally Dear Father but occasionally Dear Fiancé.

It’s usually fairly obvious from the post.
