Wedding flowers

I'm sorry in advance for this most likely STUPID question.

Can you get silver flowers?

What flowers are in season in September?

Getting married next year and thinking of having our bridesmaids in silver/grey with the grooms tie, decorations etc matching.

Is this a thing?! It's either that or blue!

What about real touch flowers? It allows for more creativity, I had a beautiful bouquet of those for my wedding.

I know my ex-SIL had flowers that were dyed somehow by the florist for her bridal portraits. I'm not sure why they were, just remember ex-MIL said they they reeked and gave ex-SIL a headache.

This gives a guide of what's available in each season so may be a good starting point

There is a fab florist near us that grows all their own flowers so is very seasonal and their Instagram is beautiful. Maybe have a look for some inspiration

I love her style. I had something much more formal but if I were to do it again I would go this way

I trained as a florist, and there are a few ways of incorporating silver into wedding flowers.

You can use silver beads threaded onto florists wires, so that they add a subtle sparkle.

You can use silver spray paint - spray some onto a sheet of paper and gently dab white roses, so that just the very edges of the petals pick up some of the silver.

You can spray beargrass (a long thin grass blade) and use in bouquet, either as long blades or in loops.

You can get silver skeleton leaves which add a delicate touch.

Any of these ideas could be incorporated into the bouquet you liked or a hand tied bouquet.

Go for colours you love, and your bridesmaids will like to wear. Test out silver on them. It depends on their colouring, can look awful on some people. Personally think blue is quite summery. If you decide silver, I'd go for the white.

Get artificial

You could go pale pink & white flowers with grey pin.it/35yld3ef7hjds7 or pale purples pin.it/iufl6bdnwlyzvv
Or
Here's something more striking
