How many weeks am I?

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me as I’m really confused. I had an early scan at 10 weeks and they dated me as 11+3 but I was ttc previous so I know my last period was 23/7/18 making me 10 so why have they dated me later? As going by their dates I should have conceived when I was still on my period! So I know that isn’t true.. very confused. Then on my 12 week scan they said I was 13 weeks so still confirming the previous scan 🤯 any help is appreciated

The weeks are calculated from the first day of your last period. It would be when you conceived plus 2 weeks in most cases. Either way the scans are always correct as it's very accurate at the 12 week point. Try not worry about it as baby will come when it's ready any way!

I had this issue with DC2 and again this pregnancy. My dates have to be adjusted because my periods were so irregular. They added two weeks to the suspected conception date (this time I know the exact date which helps and last time I was pretty certain too and it sounds like you know too). Then with my DC2 they adjusted it again by a couple of days and then adjusted it back to the original date as he was measuring big at one point. Both my older kids were born within a few days of their due date X
