Name labels

What are the best labels for naming kids’ school stuff (uniform, shoes, water bottle, bag etc)?

I don’t want to be sewing labels in, but want some that don’t come off after a few washes!

Recommendations please!

Stikins

Still have a tie we bought for reception; washed twice weekly, label still there and perfect. DS is now Y3

Stikins! Always stikins

Stikins are wonderful (I order in bulk from Amazon), but I do also have a Stamptastic name stamp, and that's really good too.

I use My Nametags. Never had any issues and when they sent me the wrong labels once, their customer service was very prompt and absolutely superb. I had the correct labels the next day.

Mynametags

They do wear off eventually (and I do mean eventually- they last ages!) but they’re so cheap and easy to use.

Easy2name.com. Loads of different options.

Tbh I have given up and just write their name with a sharpie and use a white one for dark stuff. Seems to last well with the wash.

Stikins definitely

(Slight bias - I'm the founder of My Nametags, the only label company with a Queen's Award)

For clothing, you can choose iron-on name tags (My Nametags guarantees iron-on labels for 10 years) instead of sew-ons. You can also use colour stickers that will stay on care labels/wash labels, but not as long as iron-on ones.

For shoes and equipment, you can use sticker labels. My Nametags' labels will stay on for 10 years in the dishwasher. Make sure that the labels you choose are rub resistant enough to put in shoes (the ones that are not rub resistant usually offer transparent shoe covers).

Good luck - hope to see you at My Nametags! Smile
