Why am I so flirty when drunk?

Once I get a drink in me, I become so so so flirtatious. I am young.

I have a boyfriend, yet once I’ve had say 3-4 glasses of wine minimum, I become a total flirt.

I will flirt with strangers at parties, fail to mention I am in a relationship.

I’ll flirt at the clubs and then pull away when I’ve led them on.

How do I control myself more?!

Moderate your drinking as you know it's a problem.

If you can't moderate it then seek help.

I'm the same.
It's horrible of me.
But it's an ego thing with me. I don't want sex, at all, just the attention and flattery. Not a nice thing to admit, I find it easier to control the drinking than control the drinky attention seeker.

Try another kind of drink.
I'm a nightmare on wine, get very emotional and upset.
Lager even just a couple, I can't handle, sends me too drunk and unaware of my actions.
Gin and vodka leave me feeling happy and relaxed, completely in control and I always have a great night.
Sometimes it's not how much you drink but what you drink.
Someone I'm related to used to be a disgusting flirt when she was out not caring about her husband at home. It turned out to be the wine. As soon as she found a new drink she's been absolutely fine when drunk and can control herself better.

Drink = flirty
No drink = no flirty
Problem solved. Simple.

Sounds like you need to control yourself entirely not a bit more, otherwise you won’t be in a relationship long.

Alcohol lowers your inhibitions.

It’s a fairly normal response to drinking isn’t it? Drink less if it matters, but flirting is hardly the end of the world.

@jellieellie alcohol is alcohol. Different drinks all just contain the same ethanol so don’t affect you in different ways. If you drank 2 pints of lager that could be 5 units. Which is the same as 5 single vodka tonics. That’s the only difference.
