Massive spot brewing on my chin

Hi

My chin feels really tender at the moment and a I can feel a really big spot brewing just under the skin. Help! What can I do to stave it off? I have to give a big presentation on Wednesday and really don’t want a massive chin spot then!

Thanks

Toothpaste

I recently bought a Neutrogena Light Therapy stick from Boots (£20-30) and you hold it over the spot for two minutes three times a day and it does seem to reduce the spot and/or bring it to a head much faster than doing nothing.

I think it's Clearasil but you can get a grey tube of spot-drying gel
Works wonders and dries clear so you ca put make up over the top

I currently have one and there was just no stopping it! Very painful too Blush I've been trying the old toothpaste trick but it seems my second head is sticking around...might even give it a name if it's here any longer Hmm lol

Sudocrem! Works wonders for drying out spots.

This things works miracles! It's meant for cold sores I believe but it's got something inside that also helps prevent spots and acne. A tiny dab and it's gone.

Hydrocolloid dressing on at night will draw it out. Salycilic acid will clear it up too.

Magnesium sulphate paste, you can get it from the pharmacy and it basically draws it to a head you can then squeeze, it really is a game changer when it comes to spots! Well for me anyway

Zinc supplements.

Acnecide

Savlon savlon savlon. All the Savlon. I get cystic acne on my chin & if I savlon it a few times a day when I feel it brewing, it just makes them go away in a day or two without coming to a head.

As pp suggested above - Salycilic acid. Crush an aspirin and make into a paste with a little water and put in your skin. It should dry it out and reduce the inflammation and redness. Good luck!

Alcohol hand gel, clears them up brilliantly.
