Can soap go out of date?

We have been having a bit of a clear out and I've discovered a trove of soap bars my DSSs must have brought back from Disneyland Paris (Mickey mouse soap bars). We went in 2012.

Do you think they would be safe to use? I hate the idea of wasting them and just throwing them out.

I would imagine that they might have.lost their fragrance slightly but will.still work fine as soap. Give them a go!

soap doesn't go off.
it might get a bit dry and lose some scent but it's still good to use.

They'll be fine.

My is collected soaps during their travels over decades. They have a bowl of these soaps. They are dry and shrunken and I doubt they'd clean much. Yours sound like they are in much better condition!

Don’t eat it.

They lose their fragrance but still work as a cleanser.

My mum's just brought round some in the shape of animals that I was bought for my christening in 1985 - DS has been using them fine all week!

Thanks for answering. We will be using Mickey soap until at least Christmas. Grin
