Be cancelled?

We have one for tomorrow after a 111 call but I don't think it's necessary.

Yeah. If you really feel it is no longer needed then either ring 111 back or the ooh number. Please cancel rather than just not turn up.

However is the situation likely to deteriorate again?

Oh gosh, no I won't just not turn up. I'd definitely call them to cancel. I just don't want to get in trouble for cancelling!

I told the 111 person an appointment wasn't required, that I just wanted advice but she insisted. I honestly don't think an appointment is needed though!

You won't be in trouble, they may just advise you to see your regular GP and they are likely to contact them either way.
