Does this travel coffee cup exist?!

I'm looking for a coffee cup I can carry around that is both dishwasher and microwave safe (I don't mind if the lid isn't, but needs to be able to put the body of the cup in, as I take ages over a drink and like to be able to heat it up if I'm near a microwave 😁)
Ideally a pretty one too!
Does anyone know if such a thing exists? When I Google it comes up with loads of dishwasher ones, but I can't seem to find anything that microwaves too.
Anyone found such a thing?
Thank you!

Er if it’s dishwasher safe it should definitely be microwaveable. I use those signs interchangeably - never had a problem.

Not at all!! Lots of cups are metal and you absolutely do not put them in the microwave!!

My glass/ silicone keep cup is microwave safe (the lid isn’t). I’ll find a link now.

If you're near a microwave would you be near a supply of proper mugs? Then you could just pour it in from the travel mug.

I have a ceramic one that I bought in the supermarket with a silicon lid. The cup can be microwaved and both cup and lid go in the dishwasher. I imagine that bamboo or glass cups would also be microwaveable.

Our head brought all the staff one each from the following company uk.keepcup.com/?country=United%20Kingdom#modal we were each allowed to design our own so loads of funky colours , the lids can't go in the microwave but the cup part can.

This one www.johnlewis.com/keepcup-brew-reusable-12oz-glass-coffee-cup-travel-mug-340ml-clear-black/p3373313

The cork version can’t be microwaved though. Only the glass/ silicone.

I have an "I'm not a paper cup" mug which is ceramic so fine in the dishwasher and microwave but can't seem to find it for sale. I also have the ecoffee cup which is dishwasher but not microwave proof as it's made of bamboo.

iPad won’t do links properly. Bastard!

I have a Nespresso one which is not microwaveable (metal) but acts like a thermos so your drink never goes cold. Both halves dishwasher proof, so almost meets your brief

I have a Contigo Byron - which isn't microwavable but keeps things piping hot for hours and hours and so you wouldn't need a microwave. The lid is dishwasher proof.

Questionsquestionsquestions · 19/10/2018 22:52

Thanks for the replies. Totally forgot to add that I'd like to avoid ceramic, as it feels too fragile on the move!
I'm also trying to about having to pour drink into a mug to microwave -i know I can do this, but was hoping for an ideal solution where I won't have to!

ShivD -i did actually have that exact one... But I was told when I bought it that it can't be microwaved (and there was nothing in the packaging or cup that says otherwise) -how do you know it can? That would be perfect if it does!

The cork one looks really interesting-will investigate further...

I got my corky cup from Aldi last Christmas. It's used at least weekly, always washed in the dishwasher and occasionally microwaved. The design on the cork has faded a but but it's held up really well.

BringOnTheScience · 19/10/2018 23:03

I have a silicon collapsible cup. It's brilliant. Microwavable & ok for top shelf of dishwasher. Plus it takes up much less space in your bag.

Questionsquestionsquestions · 22/10/2018 22:10

Thanks again - will give the cork or the silicon one a try. I was hoping for something pretty (like the different Chilly designs) - but I think I'm asking for too much Grin
