Didn't realise it was out, then saw it in Sainsburys this morning for £8.50! Can't wait to read it. The writer is poorly, so it's been a long time coming. All we need now is for Hilary Mantel to finish The Mirror and the Light......

I know! Mine was 'delivered' to my kindle yesterday - I pre ordered it. I resisted the urge to start reading yesterday. I'm going to binge over the weekend!

I’m back from Sainsbury’s, having bought the last copy on the shelves. The space for ‘Tombland’ was empty, so I was feeling very dejected, but spotted a copy elsewhere on the book stand. I was so pleased I went to the cafe and celebrated with a cup of tea and a plate of toasted fruit loaf. Thanks @Clawdy
